The popular meme "Let‘s eat grandma –punctuation saves lives" was the name giver for the band from Norwich. The name also hints at the fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood", when the bad wolf eats the grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood wants to eat with grandma. The duo finds its inspiration also from other Grimm‘s fairy tales. The songs "Deep Six Textbook", "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms" and "Rapunzel refer to the old German folk stories.
Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth are behind the melancholic pop project. They released their first full-length "I, Gemini" in June 2016. Now they are on tour. They play in November amongst other places in Leeds, London, Reykjavic, Hamburg, Berlin, Rotterdam and Paris. The girls deliver the perfect soundtrack for the dark time of the year. And they all lived happily ever after ...
